Young Roma Talents 2024/25. Meet the Final Four!
Four exceptional young people who aren’t afraid to show their talent, break barriers, and follow their dreams.
Together with our ambassadors Zea, Spunkey, Lukáš Daněk, Jarda Oláh, and Radek Laci, we selected them from dozens of applicants for this year’s edition of Young Roma Talents. Each of them has a powerful story, inner strength, and a drive to create change.
The Rose from Concrete will support them with mentoring, expert guidance, new opportunities, and practical help so they can grow – as artists, athletes, creators… but also as strong individuals who inspire those around them.
Get to know them:
Natália (20) – ART / Animation
She’s been drawing since she was twelve, telling stories through images. Today, she’s studying animation at the University for the Creative Arts in the UK. In her work, she doesn’t shy away from difficult topics – she’s illustrated the testimonies of Holocaust survivors and created an animation about the forced sterilizations of Roma women.
She’s got a unique style and the courage to do things her own way.
Jan (18) – SOUND / Guitar & Vocals
Music has been part of Honza’s life since childhood – his biggest inspiration was his grandfather, who handed him his first guitar when he was just eleven. Two years later, he started singing and writing his own songs. His dream? To express himself through music he creates from the heart.
Brett (21) – ART / Visual Art, Illustration & Design
Brett creates a world where colors and ideas take the lead. He’s been drawing since he was little and later found his voice in design, cover art, and visual projects – which he brings to life from concept to final execution. But his ambitions go even further. Through his art, he wants to share a message and inspire others.
Ondra (17) – MOVE / Boxing
Ondra is a fighter – in every sense of the word. A young boxer from Brno, he’s living proof that with determination, nothing is impossible. With support from the program, he had the chance to represent the Czech Republic at the World Championships in Colorado. His story is one of strength, perseverance, and a deep love for sport.
Get inspired by his journey – here’s the video.
Young Roma Talents isn’t just about personal growth.
It’s a space where dreams, talent, and the drive to make change come together. It’s a community that’s got your back, opens doors, and tells you: “Go for it.”
Thank you to everyone who applied this year – we truly appreciate every application, every story, every video. What’s next? Keep an eye on our website – the new edition launches in October 2025. Maybe next time, it’ll be you. Let’s go!
